On Monday, activists unfurled a giant banner on Venice\u2019s San Marco Square reading: \u201cIf you can rent Venice for your wedding, you can pay more tax.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Simona Abbate, a campaigner with Greenpeace Italy, told reporters: \u201cThe problem is not the wedding. The problem is the system.
