During the day\u2019s panel, PT legislator Jack Rocha, general coordinator of the Women\u2019s Parliamentary Group in the Chamber of Deputies, stated that there is no just climate transition without women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIn the Chamber, we are only 91 out of 513, but we generate 40 percent of all parliamentary activity. And we are here, with the largest female parliamentary group in history at an international event, to demand our rightful place at the decision-making table,\u201d she affirmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For Rocha, the climate crisis is not neutral: it deepens inequalities and affects women and girls, especially the most vulnerable, more severely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
