The diplomat stressed Russia\u2019s rejection of the illegal and destructive external intervention, driven by neocolonial interests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Furthermore, the Venezuelan minister thanked the People\u2019s Republic of China for its \u201cfirm support for the sovereignty, peace, and legitimate rights and interests\u201d of Venezuela. He valued Beijing\u2019s warning that no nation can place its internal laws above international agreements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finally, he emphasized: \u201cWe extend our gratitude for China\u2019s willingness to collaborate with the Latin American and Caribbean region in preserving its status as a Zone of Peace.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On another note, during the day, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister also held talks with his Omani counterpart, Sayyid Badr Bin Hamad Bin Hamood al Busaidi. Regarding this, Gil stated: \u201cWe discussed the situation in Venezuela and the crucial importance of respecting the sovereignty and independence of nations. We sincerely appreciate his call to guarantee peace and security for the Venezuelan people.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These gestures of solidarity from global powers reaffirm the importance of international law and the self-determination of peoples in the face of unilateral actions taken by the United States.
