Miguel D\u00edaz-Canel Berm\u00fadez, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, held a telephone conversation today with the acting president of Venezuela, Delcy Rodr\u00edguez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to a message posted on his social media account, the Cuban president reiterated Cuba\u2019s strong condemnation of the US military aggression that occurred on January 3 and the kidnapping of constitutional president Nicol\u00e1s Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI expressed our support and solidarity with the homeland of Bol\u00edvar and Ch\u00e1vez, its people, and the Bolivarian government; as well as the decision to continue strengthening the historic relations of brotherhood and cooperation,\u201d D\u00edaz-Canel wrote in his post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
