Bayern Defeats Real Madrid and Qualifies for the Champions League Semi-finals

Bayern Munich beat Real Madrid four goals to three today to qualify for the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League.

Real Madrid took the lead in the opening minute with a goal from midfielder Arda Güler, who capitalized on a glaring error by goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.

The Merengues’ advantage was short-lived, as in the sixth minute of the first half, Aleksandar Pavlovic headed the ball into the back of the net, putting his team ahead on aggregate.

The team managed by Álvaro Arbeloa regained the lead with Arda Güler’s second goal of the match, a powerful free kick following a foul just outside the penalty area.

At the end of the first half, Harry Kane scored for Bayern and Kylian Mbappé for Real Madrid, ending the first 45 minutes with a 3-2 scoreline in favor of Los Blancos.

Eduardo Camavinga, who had been brought on by Real Madrid’s management in the second half in an attempt to control the game, received a red card after two consecutive yellows, leaving his team with ten men.

Colombian Luis Díaz and Frenchman Michael Olise, with goals in the 89th and 90+4 minutes respectively, secured Bayern Munich’s victory against an opponent that gave their all throughout the tournament.

In the semifinal stage scheduled for April 28, Vincent Kompany’s team will face the reigning champions, Paris Saint-Germain, who defeated Liverpool (4-0).
