Cuban foreign minister denounces Israel’s double standard on Iran’s nuclear program

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez has denounced on Monday on his X account the double standards of Israel and its leaders over the past 30 years, in relation to their constant accusations against Iran’s nuclear program.

On the social network, the top representative of Cuban diplomacy noted that “Netanyahu and his supporters have been lying for more than 30 years about Iran’s possession of nuclear weapons.”

Rodríguez stated that Israel’s intention is clear: it seeks to militarily involve the United States government to destroy Iran, which has historically supported the creation of an independent Palestinian state.

On June 13th, Israel launched an attack on Iran’s nuclear, military, and civilian facilities, resulting in more than 600 casualties, including senior commanders and scientists.

The Islamic Republic responded with Operation True Promise 3 and launched 22 rounds of missiles and drones at targets throughout the occupied territory.

The Israeli attack occurred one day before the date set for the United Nations Security Council to consider the genocide committed against the people of Gaza.
