Cristina Fernández is back on the campaing trail

The former dignitary, who was sentenced to life imprisonment and six years in prison, which she is serving at home, sent a message of encouragement to a gathering of Peronist supporters gathered at the National University of Hurlingham as part of the political campaign for the legislative elections on Sunday, the 7th, in the Province of Buenos Aires.

Cristina, who remains the president of the Justicialist Party, recalled that the University of Hurlingham was the last institution of higher education created by her government at the end of her second term in 2015.

“During our administration, we created 19, 19 universities. When we finished our administration, on December 9, 2015, every Argentine province had a university,” she emphasized.
This university in Hurlingham "allowed thousands of residents throughout Greater Buenos Aires to be the first generation of university students in their family."

That's why defending public universities is an unwavering obligation for all of us who have had the opportunity to pursue our professional training there, he added.

"As is also the case with Florencia, who today has the responsibility of leading the Fuerza Patria councilor list in Hurlingham," he noted.

He recalled that Florencia Lampreabe, whom he described as a valuable colleague, was one of the authors of the front-of-package food labeling law as a national representative. This legislation made an exceptional and fundamental contribution to better health for all Argentines, he praised her.

After highlighting the candidate's qualities, he called on everyone to support "Flor and Fuerza Patria" at the polls.

That day, the polls will open in the Province of Buenos Aires, allowing some 13.5 million voters to elect 23 new senators and 46 deputies, as well as council members and school counselors in each municipality.
