In a message published on X, the Foreign Minister stated that the “new US veto of the draft resolution in the UN Security Council, which called for an immediate, unconditional, and permanent ceasefire in Gaza and the unimpeded entry of humanitarian aid, demonstrates its complicity in the genocide carried out by Israel against the Palestinian people.”
Washington vetoed a UN Security Council resolution on Thursday demanding an immediate and permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the release of Israeli hostages. The body’s resolution was supported by the other 14 members.
