#FidelLivesAmongUs.
“Anyone who doubts it should read, see, or hear how much the Commander-in-Chief of the #CubanRevolution continues to speak to us, from the immortality of his ideas and the strength of his legacy, which continues to challenge us every day,” the Cuban president wrote on social media.
Prime Minister Manuel Marrero also emphasized that, nine years after his passing, the revolutionary leader’s example remains a compass in the face of every challenge.
“The enduring lesson of #Fidel, as Raul told us, is that it can be done, that humankind is capable of overcoming the harshest conditions if its will to win does not falter,” he noted.
For his part, Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez, commemorating the date, affirmed that Fidel Castro’s legacy of dignity, sovereignty, anti-imperialism, and social justice for Cuba and the peoples of the world remains alive in the current generations of revolutionaries.
