Preselection for U-12 Baseball World Cup Announced

The Cuban Baseball Federation announced the list of the U-12 pre-selection, from which the team that will represent the island in the World Cup scheduled for July 23 to August 3, in Taina, Chinese Taipei, will be selected.

The boys will meet in Sancti Spíritus from the 9th and from there the final group of 18 players and four coaches will be selected.

Cuba’s debut will be on July 24 against the host team, in group A, which also includes Mexico, Australia, Germany, and Japan.

The Taiwanese have won two of the five previous editions, only surpassed by the United States, which has won the other three.

Group B is made up of the Czech Republic, South Korea, Panama, South Africa, South Africa, Dominican Republic, and the United States.
