ICS highlights creation of Central Media Subsidiary Company

The Institute of Information and Social Communication (ICS) highlighted on its social media the creation of the Central Media Subsidiary Company, responsible for implementing advertising and sponsorship in radio, television, news agencies, and digital platforms, in accordance with Law 162 on Social Communication and Decree 102.

The entity was created following the entry into force of Law 162/2023 “On Social Communication” and Decree 102 “Regulations for the Practice of Advertising and Sponsorship,” legislation that governs the placement of commercial messages in the country’s media.

Affiliated with the Cuban Institute of Communications (ICS), the Central Media Subsidiary aims to guide advertisers and sponsors in selecting campaigns, media outlets, and budgets, in order to optimize investment and ensure adequate returns.

According to institutional information, the media subsidiary acts as a specialized advertising assistant, advising on the best dissemination options and supporting companies in planning their communication strategies.

The service includes the possibility of placing advertisements on radio stations such as Radio Rebelde and Radio Taíno, as well as on Cuban Television and the Cuban Radio Portal online, among other nationally broadcast platforms.

The Central Media Subsidiary has a contact email address: centraldemedioscuba@gmail.com, to handle project requests and inquiries from businesses interested in accessing its services.
