The Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed today its commitment to strengthening bilateral and collaboration ties with Belgium.
This was stated on the Ministry’s X account, marking the 123rd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties with the European nation.
Cuba and Belgium established diplomatic ties on August 18, 1902, and have since maintained a positive bilateral relationship built on mutual respect.
Brussels has consistently supported the resolution presented by Cuba to the UN General Assembly, calling for an end to the U.S. economic, commercial, and financial blockade, which has lasted for over sixty years.
