Association of the blind in Cuba towards greater social inclusion

With the venue at the Palace of Conventions in the Cuban capital, the organization’s IX Congress is held until next Thursday with the motto “Include me, I am not different”.

The 200 delegates from the 15 Cuban provinces and their special municipality analyze topics such as technology, culture, sport, communication and employment, among others, to acquire knowledge and reach a different dimension on how their development should be within society.

The National Association of the Blind (ANCI), founded on July 19, 1975, works for the comprehensive rehabilitation of the blind in social life, their integration into work and education, as well as sports practice, access to culture and recreation.
