Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba announces its VII Plenary Session

The Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (CC-PCC), Roberto Morales Ojeda announced on Wednesday the holding of the VII Plenary Session of the body, this Friday, December 15 and Saturday, December 16.

Through his account on X, the party leader informed that during those days, priority issues of the political, economic and social sphere of the country will be analyzed, and the people will be provided with ample information on the debates.

During the VI plenary session of the political organization, held in May, lines of work for the promotion of the economic and social policy guidelines of the Party and the Revolution were approved.

These guidelines propose to implement bold measures in line with the economic model of the largest Antillean island, evaluate how to increase the production of goods and services, pay special attention to the improvement of central strategic planning and local development, from the potential of each municipality.

The lines of work also establish as a priority the agro-industry, especially food production, the transformation of the socialist state enterprise, the substitution of imports and accelerate the realization of new foreign direct investment businesses.
