Meanwhile, the Ukraine Security Service confirmed new attacks on two airfields in the Crimean Peninsula. At the Saki airfield, Ukrainian drones struck seven hangars where Russian Su-30SM, Su-30 and Su-24 combat aircraft were reportedly destroyed or, at a minimum, damaged.
At the Gvardiski military airfield, the Ukrainian attack reportedly hit a storage facility for Shahed drones.
For several weeks, Ukraine has been carrying out a campaign of attacks against targets, bridges and other logistics and energy infrastructure across the Crimean Peninsula, seeking to cause fuel shortages and widespread power outages in this Black Sea territory.
