On Wednesday, the Russian Defense Ministry said its forces attacked ports in the Odesa region for the second consecutive day, where three people were killed and three others were injured.

“As a result of multiple strikes using precision weapons and drones, targets at the ports of Odesa and Chornomorsk were hit,” the Russian authorities said.
Russian forces also struck port facilities used for fuel unloading, fuel storage tanks, production and assembly workshops for medium-range drones operated by the Ukrjet company, and four cargo ships at the ports of Chornomorsk and Dnipro-Buh.
The previous day, Russian forces also struck facilities belonging to Ukraine’s military industry in Kiev and the port of Yuzhniy in the Odesa region, where a cargo ship was also hit.
Russia Shoots Down Dozens of Ukrainian Drones
During the night of Tuesday and the morning of Wednesday, Russian air defenses shot down 93 Ukrainian drones over six regions and the Crimean Peninsula.
More specifically, air defense systems destroyed 93 fixed-wing drones that were heading to attack targets in the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Rostov, Moscow and Krasnodar regions, as well as Crimea.
On Tuesday night, Moscow’s mayor said that 340 drones heading toward the metropolitan region surrounding the Russian capital had been shot down over the previous 24 hours. “More than 50 drones were destroyed while approaching Moscow,” he stressed.
Meanwhile Ukrainian forces attacked oil refineries in Krasnodar, the Black Sea coast, Bashkiria, and the Ural Mountains. On the same day, the Russian forces shot down 288 unmanned aerial vehicles.
