With six points from their opening two matches, the host nation secured its passage to the next phase alongside regional rival Mexico, who also confirmed its presence in the round of 32 of this premier football tournament.
This historic achievement represents the first time since the inaugural Uruguay World Cup 1930 that the North American squad has secured consecutive victories in their first two matches of a global campaign.
First Half Dominance
The U.S. squad established its absolute dominion during the first half of the match, displaying a sharp, vertical offensive style that mirrored their previous successful performance against Paraguay.
